The first post will be about hockey, and the second post will be about the thing that absolutely frakking decimated my entire night.
We lost. Obviously. We played 50% like crap and 50% alright. The Canucks played 50% pretty well and 50% like total bitches, like we knew they would.
Things that were upsetting besides the shit that I'm going to focus on in Post #2: the Kings fans in Section 206. Seriously, f*ck all of you guys. You know who I'm talking about. First, if you're offended by them waving off a goal or missing a call, that's fine. You should be. Stand up, be rowdy, whatever. But sit your ass down when play resumes if everyone else in your section is sitting down, including several older people who can't stand up for prolonged periods of time. And then, when people yell at you to sit down, don't turn around and scream at them for three minutes while still standing, thereby causing the rest of the section to f*cking hate you. There is basic etiquette involved in watching a game, and that typically does not involve blocking someone's view. And to the people yelling at them three rows back, there was really no need to throw food. But thanks for reminding me why people suck!
ANYWAY, the loss sucks, but we're not entitled to win Game 4 just because we won Games 1-3. We're not entitled to win Game 4 just because the Sedins are shady as f*ck and Ryan Kesler is a diving, whiny son of a bitch. We're CERTAINLY not entitled to win Game 4 when half of us can't even stay on our god damned feet during key moments. And we're not entitled to win Game 4 even though our goalie is clearly descended from the gods themselves.
Let's put our big boy (and girl) pants on, and win Game 5. Or 6. We only need one.
Now onto Post #2, which is sure to be even more depressing. Yay!
